Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Plainfield, IL (south)
Hours: Part-time (12 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (4 hours per day)
Compensation: $20 per hour
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to support our Operations Director. This is a part-time position, starting at 12 hours per week, with the potential for growth. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks ranging from general administrative duties to real estate, marketing and social media support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Director across multiple projects
- Handle general office tasks such as data entry, file management, and correspondence
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and booking appointments
- Assist in Real Estate related duties such as posting ads, managing requests, setting up utilities, etc.
- Manage and update social media accounts (e.g., posting, tracking engagement, etc.)
- Assist with basic marketing tasks such as content creation, email campaigns, and marketing materials
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Conduct basic research and compile information as directed
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications with professionalism
- Perform other tasks and duties as needed to support business operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or higher preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and basic marketing concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and a positive and proactive attitude a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor
